Biography
Mark
Stevenson is an independent writer and producer based in
Southern Ontario. His work has appeared on CTV, CBC, CNN, the Discovery
Channel, as
well as
in numerous Canadian newspapers, including the Globe and Mail and
the National Post. Before he decided to go freelance, Mark was the National
Wildlife
and Environment reporter for CTV News based in Calgary, Alberta.
Mark has also worked for CNN in Atlanta, where he
wrote and produced environment stories. As a newspaper reporter for
the National
Post and Southam
News, he covered politics, court, business, health, and science. Mark
has a journalism
degree from Ryerson University and an honours degree in political science
from the University of Guelph. He also studied in London, Krakow, Poland,
and Moscow. He enjoys hockey, running, sailing, and spending time with
his
wife, Laurie, and daughter, Elizabeth.
